 Get the inside details  of the 1986 Geraldo Rivera television  special, “The Mystery of Al Capone’s Vaults,”  acted out live beneath the streets of Chicago at the Lexington Hotel  as a “vault” was broken into in real time to  search for  Al Capone’s supposed gangland riches. Richard Crowe, invited to appear on the show, was dropped after he informed producers of the truth --  that the so-called “secret  vault” was public  knowledge in the 1930s and therefor  no “treasure” would be found there.

 SEE-- the 1931 map of gangster Chicago that proves the vault was just a storage area for liquor.
