Portillo’s in Forest Park .
Next to a cemetery. This is the usual stop for a food break on this route on a public tour. If you’d just like a quick break, this site is perfect.

Capone's Restaurant, 105 W. St. Charles Road, Lombard.
A theme restaurant with gangster photos, memorabilia, and operated by a family with "Family" associations. Weekday luncheon buffet - salads, soups, breadsticks, pizza, various entrees, etc. - special @ $12. Contact: Dawn at 630-652-1000.

Sawa’s Old Warsaw, 9200 W. Cermak, Broadview.
Features hearty buffet of American and Polish favorites. Polish sausage, broasted chicken , potato pancakes, large salad bar, and the like. Closed Mondays. Weekdays @ $12 (inclusive). Weekends extra, ask. Contact: Stuart Sawa at 708-343-9040.

The original Billy Goat Bar & Grill, Lower Michigan & Hubbard, Chicago.
This is the usual stop for a food break on a public tour. For just a quick break, this site rocks. Order individually or Richard Crowe can arrange running tabs. Haunted by the ghost of Mike Royko!

Marcello’s / Father and Son, 645 W. North Ave. , Chicago.
Famous Chicago pizzas (thick or thin), Italian specialties, chicken dishes, bakery. To discuss various family-style meal options, please call catering at 312-654-2550. Haunted!

Grand Triple Crown, (Chinatown) 2217 S. Wentworth, Chicago.
Chinatown ’s upscale, feng shui designed restaurant. Family style special menu @ $12 (inclusive), featuring two appetizers, four entrees, rice, tea and fortune cookies. Contact Richard Crowe for bookings.

Parthenon Restaurant (Greektown), 314 S. Halsted, Chicago.
The restaurant that invented flaming saganaki (cheese)! Great lamb, beef, chicken as well as seafood specialties, all done with Greek flair. The perfect choice for a more robust fare without the long steakhouse wait. For options call Yanna or Chris at 312-726-2407.
